Prices are for adults; children go free on every day. The times come from the festival’s 2026 brochure. The church’s own festival page, written earlier in the year, gives the dates as 19 to 29 November, but the brochure’s day-by-day timetable starts on Friday 20 November.
What’s on at the festival
- The trees: displays of trees and wreaths from local businesses, charities and schools, with a visit from the Mayor to judge them.
- Music: choirs and brass bands on several days, including Occasional Brass on both Saturdays and at the Victorian Evening.
- Memory and Kindness Trees: hearts for the Memory Tree cost £1 and tags for the Kindness Tree are free.
- Pop-up café: open every day except the Victorian Evening, when mulled wine and mince pies are on sale instead.
The festival is run by a new committee this year, which has taken over from the volunteers who organised it for many years. Questions go to the committee at christmastreefestival@stmaryswarwick.org.uk.
Getting there and the Victorian Evening
St Mary’s is in Old Square, CV34 4RA, a short walk from the Market Place. The festival’s busiest night is Thursday 26 November, when it reopens at 5pm for Warwick’s Victorian Evening and the Christmas lights switch-on. For parking, see our Warwick parking guide, and for everything else happening in town over the festive season, our Christmas in Warwick guide. More about the church itself, including the tower climb, is in our St Mary’s Church guide.
