Warwick Town Council is giving away 500 free pumpkins in the Market Place on Tuesday 27 October 2026, from 12pm to 4pm. The Warwick pumpkin giveaway is free, there’s no booking, and the council’s advice is to come early if you want to take one home.
The Market Place will be filled with Halloween-themed pumpkins for the afternoon, so it’s also set up as a backdrop for family photos. The giveaway falls in the Warwickshire school half-term (26 to 30 October) and is billed as the start of Halloween week in the town centre.

Getting there and parking
The Market Place is in the middle of town, a few minutes’ walk from the castle. A pumpkin is awkward to carry far, so if you’re driving, our Warwick parking guide lists every car park with its prices and a map.
More Halloween in Warwick that week
The Market Place is busy again on Friday 30 October, when the market becomes a Halloween-themed Trick or Treat Twilight Market from 3pm to 8pm (free entry; arts, crafts and local produce). Other half-term events, including the Lord Leycester’s pumpkin carving contest, are in our Warwick events calendar, and the pumpkin giveaway’s own listing shows nearby car parks and places to eat.
